"Digital Serenity” by Emilie Duval - Kimono Zulu Reimagined Vintage Kimono Artist Collaboration
This kimono, titled Digital Serenity, merges tranquility with subtle digital disruption. Inspired by the painting Quietly Distorted, it features soft, layered tones that evoke a serene landscape, interwoven with glitch-like patterns. Architectural forms and natural motifs converge on the fabric, inviting wearers into a world where technology and nature blend seamlessly. Reflecting a peaceful dissonance, Digital Serenity offers a wearable experience that questions how digital influences quietly reshape our perceptions of reality.
- This kimono was created along with Emilie's new project for the new terminal at IAH Airport. Heat transfers and hand-painted with aerosol paint on this mint green and blush pink haori jacket with metallic, modern embroidery accents. One-of-a-kind, hip-length. May be worn open or belted. One size fits most, up to a women's medium.
